SARAH HUNT

Sarah's motto is "I refuse to grow up!"  As a child she was inspired by dance, studying jazz, tap, and ballet, spending her days making up dance routines and doing cartwheels.  Not much has changed...

Sarah is originally from Vancouver, where she went to her first yoga class 10 years ago.  It was love at first savasana!  Sarah became a yoga teacher shortly after and came to London to begin a new journey.  She spent her first few years teaching "normal" yoga around London while developing her career as a nutritionist and delivering healthy living retreats combining both elements.  Needing a change, she decided to start an upbeat class with funky music.  One night, a disco song came on by mistake...the class loved it, she improvised and led some dance moves into the yoga poses and Disco Yoga® was born!

Appropriately dubbed by the Midult's 20 Best Yoga Teachers list as "The Funster", Sarah's warmth and infectious joie de vivre make her classes the most fun and engaging yoga sessions you will ever attend.

DJ Darlo has been DJ-ing professionally for many years. A passion for record collecting and addiction to sequins turned into a career when she won the Big Chill Festival's Open Dex competition 2007.

Since then she has been hot property DJ-ing for immersive, interactive events, festivals, parties and in London's most iconic cultural venues, including V&A, National Portrait Gallery and the British Library. She has a knack of picking a killer tune that fits the moment and innate ability to get a dance floor rocking. When she found out her friend Sarah was doing Disco Yoga with her phone plugged into tiny speakers, they made a pact to partner up and make Disco Yoga® the next BIG thing! 

Disco Yoga®’s playlist is expertly curated by DJ Darlo, from well known classics to rarer remixes, something for everybody. DJ Darlo gets you dancing in your downward dogs, wiggling in warrior and shaking your body down while you salute the sun! Then she'll cool you down with the coolest, blissed out disco tunes, warming your soul in mellow music while you bathe in the beautiful reflective light of gently spinning mirror balls...
